Bond & Darn "Will be visible" Based on time. Bond and Darn is done using a bonding paper or fabric ironed on to one side of fabric similar in colour to the garment, then ironed on to the reverse
side of the garment. The garment is then darned using very small stitches sewn INTO THE GRAIN of the fabric
min £6.00
Bond Only "Will be visible" Based on time. Bond is done using special bonding powder sprinkled onto a piece of fabric, placed behind the hold, then inserting fabric cut specifically to fit into the shape of the hole in the garment (special care is take to ensure the
fabric is inserted so the grains are in the same direction). A cloth is placed
over the top fabric and the fabric is bonded using a hot iron. Excellent for
moth holes in expensive woollen jackets, because it's almost invisible. Great for most woollen fabrics. Reasonable on linen but doesn't work well on polyester or cotton fabrics.
